Our Music Workshops are a fun and educational way to make the most of a missed lesson.
Throughout the year we offer engaging workshops on topics such as:
Workshops are available for all instruments and age groups throughout the year.
Simply log into to your Opus 1 Account and scroll down to “Music Workshops” under credits. Select “use” and you will find a list of Music Workshops, dates, and the instructor name. You may choose any class that is convenient for you.

Need the flexibility to learn on your own schedule?
If you notify your teacher before your lesson begins, you may request a Recorded Video Lesson.
Your instructor will record a personalized lesson covering your assignments, demonstrations, and next steps, then upload it to your LessonMate account. You’ll receive an email as soon as it’s ready to watch.
To request a Recorded Lesson:
Feeling well enough to learn from home?
Simply join your lesson online instead of coming to the school.
About 15 minutes before your lesson:
This is a great option for minor illness, transportation issues, or bad weather.
If you have any issues, please immediately contact the school.
Need a different lesson time?
Each student receives up to six Courtesy Lesson Swaps per year (subject to teacher availability).
Simply log into your Opus 1 account to view available openings and request a swap into another lesson time that fits your schedule.
It’s an easy way to keep your lesson in the same week while accommodating life’s busy schedule.
Can’t attend your lesson?
You’re welcome to let a family member or friend use your lesson.
This is a great opportunity for someone who’s been thinking about trying music lessons.
Simply notify the office before your lesson so we know who to expect.
